Hello There

Congrats on Making it to NITC Hope your Parents Friends and Teachers ( except for that random neighbor who asked "Didn't you get any good nearby colleges" ) are proud of you and have wished well for your UG program that is expected to be over by the upcoming 4 years. If you're reading this I'm super excited for you too. You get to be a part of a community that transforms the way you think and act for the better or for the worse. This right here is my effort to give a quick yet comprehensive understanding about our campus as in whole. I'll try my best to bring as much as info without boring you to the core.

ASK NITC : I keep telling everyone that it's the NITC version of stack overflow. But others consider it to be more like Quora for NITC (There are no others I'm just delusional and noone uses it) Use it whichever way you like. I kept it private so that only people with a valid nitc email id can signup and ask / answer the questions in there for added privacy and a homely feel. I promise to stand guard to your anonymity so nickname yourself something totally unrelated and go wild. As long as you don't be hurtful to the core (ik this sound biased) I'll not ban your account.
FOSSCELL: They kinda are the boss of this page. They are a cool bunch and they conduct FOSSMEET which is a super cool fest.
GLUG_NITC : A support group which will help you with your worries related to using GNU/Linux.

Surprisingly this is all I can think of at the moment. But I'm sure that you are feeling an itch to add more (I'm delusional noone prolly do) You can try and edit this to add more info what you think what you as a first year wished u knew in a structured manner and I hope this page grows organically to cater to the needs of the community as a whole.
